Shaan and Humaima Malik Come to Mahira Khan’s Rescue on Social Media

They messed with the wrong people.

Ever since Mahira Khan wrote an ambiguous statement on her Twitter profile, the actress has been receiving various reactions from her fans and netizens.

Yesterday Mahira posted this tweet and raised a lot of questions as the audience could not understand whether she was addressing the Musharraf verdict or something else.

“It’s such a pity that Allah’s reckoning is silent. Impact of the reckoning should be heard.”

But since most of our celebrities have shared their opinions on Musharraf’s issue, people assumed she was speaking of the same.

However things got too controversial when a Twitter user outright accused Mahira of having ‘slept her way into the industry.’

Mahira then responded to the user in another tweet and rationally explained her sentiments, like any sophisticated individual would do.

“Your thinking is quite apparent in your words. I earn through legitimate means otherwise I would pay for your proper schooling. As far as being a low life is concerned, women like myself don’t masquerade with a price tag, neither do we impose one on others.”

Actors Humaima Malik and Shaan Shahid also came to defend her and expressed their disgust at the troll.

“Madam, we will all present our reasons but what reason will you provide to the Almighty on the day of judgement? Addressing a pious person and on top of that a woman in this manner such a good person you are,” Humaima Malik lashed out at the user.

“It’s such a shame that people who pretend to be so pure and clean go out giving advice with this kind of language. Hats off to your standards! I pray that people have a clear thinking, exactly the way they have clarified their judgement of right and wrong.” She continued expressing her disappointment.

Actor Shaan also responded on the thread and added:

“Your words reflect what your standards are, it feels disrespectful to call you a Pakistani. Mahira Khan is a Pakistani. She has earned respect though her work. Learn to live with that.”
