Showbiz superstar Mehwish Hayat turned 33 yesterday. The Actor In Law actress celebrated her big day with friends and family and shared clicks from her birthday celebration on Instagram. She even wrote a special message to her fans.
Mehwish is one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. The Chhalawa star is among the highest-grossing actors of Pakistani films. The talented star just turned 33 and had a lot to talk about with her fans and followers.
Mehwish Hayat pens an emotional note
Firstly, the actress thanked everyone for their wonderful wishes and stated how she missed out on many joyful moments of her life due to her busy schedule.
“As I turn 33, the past year gave me an opportunity to reflect, assess my life and see what really matters to me. Work has been so full on, I’d forgotten the simple pleasures in life; getting my mother oiling my hair , beating my brothers and Nephew at video games, watching Netflix with my sister – all things that I’d missed. Believe me nothing in life is as important as family,” Mehwish wrote.

Mehwish Hayat also talked about the stigma for women her age. The Punjab Nahi Jaungi star said that she is happy and society can’t dictate the way she lives her life.
“Let’s not let society dictate the way we want to lead our life,” she said. “It is possible for a girl in her early 30s to be totally happy without being married and with children. It’ll happen when it will and not to some prescribed timetable.”
