‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’ actress Rehmat Ajmal recently tied the knot in an intimate ceremony. The ceremony took place over the weekend in the presence of close family members and friends.
Social media is in awe to see her as a bride. Donning an off-white and gold Zara Shahjahan ensemble with traditional jewellery, she looked nothing less than royalty.
Her husband, Tayyab, wore a plain off-white sherwani, complimenting Rehmat’s ensemble. The pictures from the events went viral on social media, as the newlyweds posed for the camera.

But what touched our heart is their wedding video. Rukhsati (a tradition where a bride leaves for the groom’s house) is a very emotional time for the bride and her family and usually ends in tears. And it is very rare to see a wedding video where a song has been sung especially for you.
But singer and artist Farheen Raza Jaffry made this moment truly special by delivering her own rendition of Bachpan by Kaavish for our bride, Rehmat Ajmal. The sentimental mood was captured by wedding photographer Izzah Shaheen Malik, aka Pictroizzah.
Rehmat shared the video on her Instagram with an emotional message for the artists.
“I have no words to express myself. Thank you for giving me the greatest gift on the most special day of my life… Thank you to both of you for composing and compiling this ensemble. I’m truly grateful and I will cherish this forever inshAllah.”
