After their dating in the spotlight and a very public engagement, Minal Khan and Ahsan Mohsin Ikram, set the wedding date! Now they’ve announced their Walima date as well.
Parchai actor Ahsan Mohsin Ikram announced his wedding date with beau Minal Khan by posting the wedding invite. The wedding date is set for September 10th. Ahsan shared the news saying;
“Alhamdulillah! ❤️
We’re gettingggggg married!!! 😜😁
@minalkhan.official I will love you forever and ever and ever and ever till my last breath ❤️”
The actor took a similar route for the reception, by posting the invite. He captioned the post;
“Save the date – 12/09/21,”
Meanwhile, the Jalan actress posted the invite captioned;
“Ready hojayein Ahsan 🤪.”
The couple scheduled the Walima two days after the nikkah ceremony on September 12th. Minal and Ahsan will host a wedding reception for their family and friends.
COVID SOPs For Weddings
Given the fourth wave of the Coronavirus pandemic, there are still restrictions on the number of guests at weddings.
Recently, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) decided to expand its stricter COVID-related standard operation procedures (SOPs) to 27 cities including Karachi. NCOC made the announcement on August 29th citing pressure on the healthcare system.
This means only outdoor wedding ceremonies with 300 guests are allowed. While wedding events are directed to wrap up by 10pm. Outdoor wedding venues have to be closed at 10 pm.
