Momina Mustehsan is one of the few Pakistani singers who rose to fame following their Coke Studio debut. Her rendition of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s famous song “Afreen Afreen” along with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan made her an overnight success. It was this song which made her melodic voice heard across different corners of the world.
Momina Mustehsan’s first song —Pee Jaun— with renowned singer Farhan Saeed introduced her on the singing scene. She made her Bollywood debut with song “Awaari” for Siddharth Malhotra action flick Ek Villain.

Momina Mustehsan’s Afreen Afreen has been watched over 270 million times on YouTube so far. Her first single “Aaya Na Tu” also garnered 68 millions views. Momina Mustehsan is also the member of UN Women Pakistan. She has raised her voice for bringing awareness about serious issues such as mental health and depression.
She briefly got engaged to a US-based banker in 2016. However, it did not last long.
Soon after, Momina joined PSL franchise Islamabad United as the Empowerment Champion in 2016. She was welcomed by the owner of Islamabad-based franchise Amna Naqvi herself.
