Shaking off that bubblegum image that young stars develop can be hard. Alizey Shah spicing up her style is just another example of backlash that comes from fans who don’t want their stars to ‘change.’
The TikToker-turned-actress is being bashed as of late for her ‘bold’ dressing.
Recently the Superstar actress posted a video strutting to renowned rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s hit track ‘Cocky AF’. The video led some to critique Alizey Shah’s dressing.
That’s when singer Momina Mustehsan stepped in to school the ‘haram’ police. She called out people for policing what women wear.
As for people not wanting the Mera Dil Mera Dushman star to change, Momina explained that;
“I would respectfully disagree. She’s still the same person, just expressing herself differently.”

Additionally she asked the haram police;
‘Let’s focus on our own Aakhirat’
After the recent backlash on the Ehd-e-Wafa actor’s attire in her music video and an event for a cellphone launch, Alizey Shah posted this recent video captioned;
“not seeking approval”
The attire in question? A tank top, and a button down.

Yet that didn’t stop social media users from piling on the unwanted comments. It can be hard for actors that join the biz young to be bashed once they start expressing their sultry side post-puberty.
This isn’t an issue with just Pakistani stars. Even Disney stars like Brittney Spears, Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus were shamed for shaking of their ‘innocent’ image.
