Money Heist Spin-off Series Berlin Releases An Exciting First Teaser

Berlin is coming to Netflix on 29 December this year.

A new Money Heist spinoff series titled Berlin has been announced, named after and centering around the series’ popular character Berlin aka Andrés de Fonollosa, played by actor Pedro Alonso. The highly anticipated teaser trailer of Berlin was released yesterday at Tudum, the Netflix event in Brazil.

Berlin is an eight-episode heist drama that hails from Money Heist creators Esther Martínez Lobato and Álex Pina.

Pedro Alonso’s Berlin was introduced during the first installment of Money Heist. The character originally died during the first season’s finale. Although Money Heist Season 5 showed his backstory, a lot is left unexplored about Berlin. Fans needed to know more about Berlin, his father, his other relationships, and more which will be explained in this series.

The prequel series also stars Michelle Jenner as Keila, Begoña Vargas as Cameron, Julio Peña as Roi, Tristán Ulloa as Damián, and Joel Sánchez as Bruce.

Money Heist aka La Casa De Papel has been one of Netflix’s biggest shows yet. It already has an official South Korean remake that is also popular. And now, we’re getting a spin-off of the Spanish series based on one of the most popular characters on Money Heist, a man called Berlin.

The series captivated audiences around the world and became a global phenomenon. From its gripping and intricate storyline to unexpected twists and turns, it kept viewers on the edge of their seats, constantly guessing and eager for more.

The story revolves around a group of criminals who, under the guidance of a mastermind known as “The Professor,” execute a meticulously planned heist on the Royal Mint of Spain and later the Bank of Spain.
