Following the domestic abuse case against him, Mohsin Haider Abbas made his first appearance on television in Waseem Badami’s ‘Har Lamha Purjosh‘. The actor opened up about all that went down since his legal battle began.
From his legal battle to condemnation from the fraternity, the actor tells all. It seemed more like he’s dishing out dirt.
The actor claims that after police conducted an investigation twice, he was found innocent of accusations of him demanding money and breach of trust. However, the case remains in court as the other allegations are still being investigated.
On accusations of refusal to pay child support, the Dewar-e-Shab actor said he was willing to give the money but Fatema had not shared her bank details to transfer the amount.
“I got a notice the next day from the court asking me to pay for childcare.”

As for condemnation by the fraternity, the Rooh singer asserted they must have vested interests.
“Celebrities who came forward must have their reasons and people tend to jump on the trend bandwagon.”
He even claims that bloggers told him it was a paid PR stunt.
“Some celebrities’ PR company is telling them to post against him and offered money as well”
The Rooh singer then asserted how prominent names from the industry such as Noman Ijaz and Humayun Saeed supported his song launch.
As for Dua Malik and Gohar Rasheed, he said he doesn’t know what are their vested interests for supporting Fatema Sohail.
Mohsin Haider Abbas and his Legal Battles
Mohsin Abbas Haider was embroiled in a domestic abuse case following allegations by his former wife, Fatema Sohail. The actor was even arrested amid all the charges.
After his conviction in the lawsuit alleging the Na Maloon Afraad actor has threatened his wife, he was later found not guilty of breach of trust.
Meanwhile, his legal battle is still ongoing.

His wife and former Mazaaq Raat co-host accused Abbas of domestic violence, beating her and cheating on her in a Facebook post last year. Later she filed lawsuits including a legal plea for divorce. The two are now legally divorced.
Fatema Sohail later filed another lawsuit against her husband for refusal to pay child support. At the time Abbas had said that due to lack of work he had no money to pay child support.
