Ms. Marvel Featurette Gives us Glimpses From the Series [Video]

Another story surrounding family and friends

Given how much comic fans are raving about the upcoming Ms. Marvel Disney+ series, Marvel decided to give us a featurette with Iman Vellani and the filmmakers making this series happen.

Earlier in October news broke out that we finally have our Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. Canadian teen, Iman Vellani has been cast in the titular role. This makes her the first Pakistani artist in a lead role in a Marvel creation.

The featurette came with Disney’s Investor Day presentation. Aside from candid conversations about our Kamala Khan and the star playing the role, the video also shares how now was a good time to finally make a series based on the comic series happen. The show will be available on Disney+ in late 2021.

Plus the snippets from what to expect in the series with struggles centered around family and friendship, we’re dying to see the series already.

It will be interesting to see what parts of the comic book series the directors stay true to and what things they chose to change up with this series.

One of the most anticipated Marvel set to hit Disney+ is the adaptation of Ms. Marvel. The character first enchanted the brown community in North America, given how a minority, a Pakistani-American Muslim teen was the protagonist of the comic series. Later the character was integrated into mainstream Avengers stories along with other young heroes like Spiderman.
