The Marvel Studio finally releases the trailer for Ms. Marvel. Fans are ecstatic to see the first Pakistani-Muslim superhero join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The trailer is trending on social media as Pakistani are loving Iman Vellani as the titular hero, Kamala Khan.

Ms. Marvel has been much demanded and anticipated due to the fact that the protagonist is a Pakistani-American and a Muslim. Seeing a brown teenager and Muslim superhero onscreen is something many Muslim Americans and desi Americans are looking forward to.

The upcoming series cast Iman Vellani in the titular role AKA Kamala Khan. The protagonist is a 16-year-old Pakistani-American from New Jersey with cosmic abilities. Kamala Khan opts for the superhero name inspired by Captain Marvel, another MCU hero played by Brie Larson. As the teen manifests her powers, she exhibits a similar ability to absorb and manipulate energy as her icon.

We’re still wondering what role Fawad Khan will have in the upcoming series as fans did not see them in the trailer. Whereas Ms. Marvel cast members include Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azher Usman, and Travina Springer.
