Mufti Menk Wins Pakistanis’ Hearts With Fluent Urdu

Recently, a snippet has been making rounds on the internet where Mufti is spotted speaking fluent Urdu.

The internationally renowned Zimbabwean religious scholar, Mufti Ismail ibn Musa Menk, who is revered for his wisdom, compassion, and kindness, was recently in Sindh to aid the flood affectees. A surprising viral video snippet of him has melted the hearts of Pakistanis for him even more. It shows him speaking Urdu eloquently while commending a local who donated his land to the flood victims to help them set up their tents.

The mufti said, Mainay suna ha ye zameen apne di hai? Humne tent yahan per dalay hain apka bohat shukriya ada kartay hain or dua kartay hain kay jese apne yahan humain zameen di hai in logon kay liye, Allah apko, apki family ko InshAllah Jannat mai jaga dey aur apki qurbaniyan qabool karay”.

He continued,

Ye puri Ummat e Muhammadia jo hai, puri dunia sey un sab ne ikhatay ho kay madad ki hai or hum shuker ada karte hain kay Allah ne humko mauqa diya hai kay ye kaam karen. Irada hai k 1 million tent hum karen, InshAllah.

In the clip, the cleric is seen manually lifting all the aid and distributing it to the needy. He is also seen traveling on a boat to make sure he provides everyone with all the aid and essentials.

The conversation between the two warmed our hearts and we pray that their efforts will be rewarded.

The scholar brought a good deal of aid with him to Pakistan in the wake of the devastating floods that left one-third of the country inundated. He participated in all the handiwork from assembling tents, and beds to carrying all the goods to the affectees in person.
