Musaddiq Malek is a talented Pakistani actor and director well recognized for his work in Mere Paas Tum Ho. He was recently interviewed by Hassan Choudary for Something Haute and spilled the tea working with Feroze Khan, Ushna Shah, Sajal Aly, and Humayun Saeed. Interestingly, his take on working with the recently divorced dad of two is not exactly praiseworthy and he even posted about it on his Instagram account.
He revealed, “I discussed it with Ushna, Nadeem Baig and team and it was decided that we should keep quiet, but then I wrote my thoughts and posted it because, if I would have asked from others, I would have not posted it. It was my decision to post because domestic abuse is close to me, my aunty was killed by my uncle, so if anyone does a little of abuse, it’s a very big thing for me.”
Musaddiq Malek remarked,
Working with Feroze Khan was a little tough because there were commitments from his side which were not transparent and he misled the team. On many occasions he tried to double cross me, I want to tell people that an actor’s job is a serious job which many actors don’t take seriously.
He also said that when Feroze Khan attempted to meddle with the director’s job, things went awry, and that he would often sob for no reason.
The director stated that the controversial actor forced him to put his foot down on several occasions because he needed to be firm against him.
He also disclosed that it was nice working with Ushna Shah, and when he commended her, she was surprised because she is renowned for her personal issues.
The director also disclosed that Humayun Saeed is a pleasure to work with and that anybody in need of work advice or ethics should seek advice from him and Sajal Ali.
