Former supermodel Nadia Hussain responded to Nabila’s criticism after the makeup guru accused her of copying her makeup palette. The product in question is Bling by Nadia Hussain‘s ‘Go Makeup Palette’.
The former supermodel recently launched her makeup palette, which is an all-in-one product that can be used for an everyday makeup look or as a last-minute touch-up product. The product description reads,
“Introducing the super awesome GO MAKEUP PALETTE, a unique all in one complete makeup kit that conceals, covers, contours, colors, highlights and adds an instant freshness to your face and gets u always ready!”
Nadia Hussain calls out Nabila
The newly launched product infuriated Nabila and she messaged Nadia Hussain saying, “Don’t you have a brain of your own?” According to her, the ‘Go Makeup Palette’ is very similar to her own product, which is recognized in the market as ‘Zero Makeup Palette’.
Nadia didn’t hold back and shared the screenshots on her Instagram. She also claimed that the makeup artist has blocked her from Instagram and WhatsApp.
“This is truly what being insecure means! I am just shocked, speechless, appalled, confused, and yet feel victorious at the same time! For someone of Nabila’s repute… to stoop so low and send me such an underhanded msg on the launch of my GO MAKEUP PALETTE is just beyond me!!!”

She went on to clarify that her palette is a completely different product.
“My item may be similar but surely the concept is totally different, she has no copyright on such a design, many many international brands have such similar travel makeup kits and also that my product itself offers much much more in comparison to her zero makeup kit!!!!”
Nadia also attached screenshots of her previous conversation with Nabila to prove the authenticity of her claims.
Nabila responds
The situation escalated quickly and now the makeup artist have released an official statement on the matter as well. Taking to her Instagram story, she reiterated that Nadia Hussain’s recently launched makeup palette has ‘blatantly used similar communication as ZERO Makeup’.
“While we don’t approve of plagiarism , we refuse to engage in desperate mudslinging efforts.”
Quoting Oscar Wilde, she wrote,
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.”
