Neelam started her career as an actress at an early age. she appeared as a child actress in the show Abhi Abhi as Rida. Growing up as a showbiz star, Neelam knew exactly how to become a household name. Now, she has been a part of countless hit dramas and films.

Last year in December, Neelam tested positive for coronavirus. Sharing the news with her fans and followers, she wrote:

 

I would like to give you all an update of some of the things I have been going through on my end, since the past couple of days,” the Chupan Chupai actor posted on Instagram. “I have tested positive for Covid-19, however my family members are all safe and healthy, Alhamdulillah.
