Netflix Announces Season Four For “Stranger Things”

Netflix releases a teaser for the horror series with an eerie tagline.

Fans of the retro sci-fi show Stranger Things have reason to rejoice. Netflix announced on Monday that the hit series will have a fourth season.

Netflix made the announcement for the fourth series via Twitter with the tag line “We’re not in Hawkins anymore.”

Hawkins, Indiana is the fictional town where the story began. As hinted during the end of season three, the vague tweet seems to suggest that the monsters from the Upside Down dimension now live someplace else.

About Stranger Things

Set in the 1980s, the series follows a gang of young misfits battling scary dimensional monsters that threaten to destroy their small town of Hawkins, Indiana. Stranger Things became an instant hit since its launch back in 2016 with its blend of 80s horror themes and a likable cast.

The third season did not disappoint as 40.7 million Netflix accounts viewed it in just four days of since its airing, setting a global viewing record.

One of the most popular and talked-about series in recent years, Stranger Things is Netflix’s most successful original production. The streaming service has come to a multi-year agreement with the show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, aka the Duffer Brothers.

Fans simply cannot wait to see what the Duffer Brothers have in store for season four.
