Stranger Things Season 3 just dropped its final trailer and now we’re wondering what the kids are up against now.
Fans know whats coming next. It’s very clear that the Mind Flayer monster survived the face-off with Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown).

The Return of the Big Bad
The big bad monster from the ‘upside down’ dimension may not have left as the gang had thought.
“What if he never left? What if he looked him out here with us?”
The Mind Flayer was last seen hovering over Hawkins Middle School in the upside down. Now the monster is intent on laying the town of Hawkins, Indiana to waste.
“We’re going to end you, we’re going to end your friends and we’re going to end everyone.”
New Host
Now we know that while the Mind Flayer is one big villain, it always needs a host to work with. Now that Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) is no longer its host, who will the monster pick?
“He’d want to attach himself to someone again.”
It is implied in the trailer that the Mind Flayer has chosen Max’s older brother Billy Hargrove to be his next vessel.
Knowing Billy Hargrove, he may even have signed up for this.

New Monsters
Besides the Demogorgons, we see a glimpse of a new kind of monster.
“You let us in, and now…..You are going to have to let us stay”
The MKUltra program has not been laid to rest even after the Hawkin’s National Laboratory massacre in Season 2. With mysterious government officials, and military operatives sneaking around in full body protective gear, they haven’t learned their lesson.
This time around they could at least help Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max. Maybe it’s these operatives ‘salvaging lost progress‘ from the experiments that undo all that Eleven did to close off the Upside Down.
Based on the last trailer, they really had something to do with the damage.
Alone the authorities are just ill-equipped to deal with the supernatural forces of the Upside Down.
Stranger Things Season 3 release date is set for July, 4, 2019. Will the Mind Flayer light things up on the fourth of July, or will the kids find a fix?
