As the drama serial Aitebaar comes to an end, netizens react to how the storyline wrapped up.
The story of the drama serial revolved around Parisa, played by Zarnish Khan. We follow her character as she recovers from tragedy and trauma.
Parisa was abducted and raped. When she needed emotional support, she was left by her partner. As the last episode of the drama serial aired on Hum TV fans were looking for some closure for the central character.
However, people also had comments about the characters questionable choices at times. Fueled not by rationale, but social shaming. So, netizens had opinions
In #Aitebaar & #Mushkil, Pari & Sameen lie to protect their spouse’s feelings. But can we just state these “good girls” are no longer good? REPEATED DISHONESTY with a partner who demands only honesty is the definition of bad.” Why are we writing Star Plus leads? #PakistaniDramas pic.twitter.com/RW7ntxAq3z

I’m honestly tired of #PakistaniDramas attempting to show dishonesty/concealing the truth as acceptable. Whether it’s Pari in #Aitebaar or Aisha in #Habs, being dishonest to a spouse for NO REASON is the why the marriage is failing – it’s not because “he doesn’t trust you.”🤨🤦🏽♀️

Then again the drama serial did many questionable things.
What kind of message are the makers of #Aitebaar trying to convey?
The woman gets kidnapped and manhandled and the only thing the husband can of doing is feed his own insecurities by ignoring her as he thinks she might have been raped!

Then there was praise for some of the other cast members. The Aitebaar cast of drama includes Areeba Alvi, Michelle Mumtaz, Ali Safina, Syed Jibran, Huma Nawab and Zarnish Khan.
Syed Jibran deserves more credit as an actor. He’s playing 3 very different characters in 3 on-air shows and doing more than just justice to each one. Despite being a “villain,” his performance as Hamza in #Aitebaar broke my heart today. #PakistaniDramas #MerayHumnasheen #Daraar pic.twitter.com/nMZbGwDRce

The Hum TV drama serial has been produced by Momina Duraid as usual. Written by Maimoona Aziz, the drama serial is a Nadeem Siddiqui directorial. Despite the difficult and taboo theme, the drama serial tried to tackle, fans expected some closure in the end. It seems that they got the happy ending that they wanted.
Please don’t turn #Aitebaar into “saazish” central. Please reinstate Parisa’s brain. Please end Hamza & Naveen. Please let Babar be happy. Please kill Bilal, his mom & Fariha. Please give Asfand screen space. & please wrap up in the next 1-2 episodes. Thank you. #PakistaniDramas pic.twitter.com/gZByoBFAgJ

While the subject matter was hard to palate and Pakistani drama producers almost always miss the mark when it comes to talking about subjects like this, it seems the ending was satisfactory.
Fans lauded Zarnish Khan for her superb acting in the drama serial. Many fans loved the ending but said that forgiveness isn’t that easy. It questionable how 30 episodes of trauma wraps up with one happy episode. However, overall, fans loved the ending.
