People have been reeling since the news of the death of playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnat. He suddenly passed away from a heart attack after a performance in Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata.
Now theories have emerged as to why this happened. According to Netizens, the air conditioning was not working at Nazrul Mancha. As per rumors on Facebook, the Khuda Jaane singer performed at the same place yesterday and had complained about the AC.
He had been sweating profusely in the closed auditorium. Netizens called out how given the pricing at the venue, they should at least keep track of their appliances.
One Facebook user posted several videos as ‘proof’ to support this theory. She affirmed how the Ankhon Mein Teri singer felt suffocated due to a lack of oxygen in the auditorium.
In another video, the discomfort is visible on Krishnakumar Kunnath’s while leaving he is completely exhausted.
Then there were people that used a fire extinguisher, the chemicals from which aren’t the best or safest for health.
With the Facebook user describes the ordeal with the swarm being no less than a lynch mob.
“This incident is not less than any mob lynching.”
In fact, there was the issue of the venue being overcrowded as people literally broke the gates and entered the auditorium without any pass.
The capacity of the hall was 2200 but over 5000 were there. All that in the heat of Kolkata in May.
Netizens are blaming all these circumstances for the singer’s heart attack.
