Fans were surprised when veteran actress Bushra Ansari shared that she and her husband director Iqbal Ansari had parted ways. While the starlet is hush about the matter, she recently spokes up about the lack of affection in the marriage.
Despite parting ways, the Ghughi actress spoke respectfully about her ex-husband. In her appearance on Nida Yasir’s ‘Good Morning Pakistan’, the Zebaish writer and actor talked about how stern her husband was.
The subject came up in the midst of discussing ‘Goud Bharai‘ or baby showers. Nida Yasir asked Bushra Ansari;
“Did you have a Goud Bharai Ritual at the time you were expecting your children?”
Bushra Ansari responded by calling such things ‘frivolous’. In the process she revealed how her marriage with director Iqbal Ansari was devoid of affection. She shared how;
“No we never did such frivolous acts (laughed Jokingly), actually I was in Islamabad and my mother’s family got shifted to Lahore. My husband and I were in Islamabad and he used to dislike all these ridiculous things. He used to think about these rituals as unimportant acts. He would consider everything frivolous including looking at each other with love and smiling, giving flowers, or showing love and care to each other. In such circumstances, demanding of Goud Bharai was a huge thing, it was totally out of question, he never gave me a single flower”.
However, it seems he was not opposed to such ‘frivolousness’ when it came to his daughters. Bushra Ansari shared how both her daughters, Nariman and Meera, celebrated their pregnancy with baby showers or ‘Goud Bharai’.
While Bushra Ansari is now largely based in Karachi, Iqbal Ansari now lives in Canada with their elder daughter Narimaan.

After so many years you have realized loss of affection in marriage.? Iqbal Ansari is a mature men vice versa Bushra Ansari carries a joyous flaunty side in life. The story might be not true as narrated by her.
Honestly speaking they r frivolous as these customs ain’t Islamic.So one shouldn’t break up one’s marriage for such trivial things.But love n respect is a spouse’s right.
