Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is a famous yet very controversial writer in the Pakistani media industry. He has written famous dramas such as Sadqay Tumharay and Meray Paas Tum Ho. In his recent tweets, the occasional actor bashed Prime Minister Imran Khan for the hike in petrol prices.

If you remember, Khalil-ur-Rehman upset a lot of people when he railed against Marvi Sirmed on live TV. His actions led to Geo Entertainment banning him from the platform and cancelling all contracts with him.

But now he has a new target, and that’s none other thank Imran Khan himself.

Khalil-ur-Rehman is not a fan

Recently, he took to his Twitter account to bash Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan. He said,

If you raise prices four days in advance due to the fear of the petrol mafia then remember, Imran Khan, you will bow before every mafia.

There is no point in running six miles now, you will start panting.

In another tweet, he called Imran Khan ‘a cowardly leader’ and said that ‘we are unfortunate as a nation.’

There isn’t a politician who, instead of saving the government, stands with the poor.

You have proved Imran Khan you are a cowardly ruler and we are an unfortunate nation.

Seemingly frustrated with the Rs 25 increase in petrol prices, Mr Qamar did not hold back on his emotions.

By making petrol more expensive, you yourself have become cheaper, Imran Khan.

A lot of Pakistanis seem to echo similar feelings. The common man has been left feeling angry and agitated with the sudden increase in petrol prices. Given the current circumstances, many people can relate to Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s sentiments.

  1. IK is not coward. He made very brave and difficult decisions against previous corrupt political leaders which nobody could ever made. It was not easy to handle but he did it. Yes he could not achieve success in fulfilling his all pre election promises. It is not easy to clean trash of last 35 years in 2 years. He was doing good but unfortunately COVID19 came.

    • Ik is a big liar. He is not able to fulfill even a bit what he talked on container, he played with the sentiments of public very tactfully.

  2. I am fully agreed with what all KRQ has said about the current fiasco. Everybody in the country has almost the same sentiments. IK has been defeated by the mafias and cartels.

  3. Yes, I want to add one thing about education. Any development would be possible due to education. Books price and much fee are touching in the sky. This is not remain possible for poor people to get good and qualified education. Why? Oil such a product, when its price is increased other
    product’s price increase as well.

  4. Well said khalil ur rehman. How one can favour this sudden and enormous hike in petrol prices. If a person of khalil status spells out common person feeling then really appreciable
