The deadly coronavirus has brought the world to a standstill as nations worldwide have no option but to enforce lock-down and social distancing until things are under control. From international sporting events to films and TV shows or even small businesses, everything is closed. However, there is one show that even our ‘Kaptaan’ couldn’t shut down and that is Nida Yasir and her very “interesting” Good Morning Pakistan! And boy! Does she have some very insightful things to share!
In today’s segment of ‘things no one wants to know’, Nida Yasir shares that with all the shops closed, she can’t wear brand new designer clothes. Thus, sadly she has to pick from a pile of last season’s clothes she has lying around in her closet.
“As everything is closed nowadays so I can’t wear any designer’s clothes. The clothes I am wearing these days are my own,” the host shared with a heavy heart. “They are someone’s gift, somebody sent me lawn dresses last year and now I am using it. There are so many clothes in my closet and I am taking out all my clothes now.”
The Good Morning Pakistan host also shared how smart she has been in spending as Nida doesn’t have to worry about repeating any outfit during the duration of these tough lock-down days.
Due to these circumstances she realized and shared,
“I realized I am such a close-fisted lady and I never waste my money on clothes. I have so many clothes in my closet and now I am utilizing those clothes by wearing them on my show.”
However, Nida is also well-aware of the deadly virus which is why she sacrificing her need for some designer outfits as she said,
“In this difficult time, I can’t ask any designer for clothes because it can be dangerous from health point of view.”

We salute her decision. Jokes apart, we hope that donating some of those clothes to the less fortunate could be a better idea. After all, they are ‘so last season’.
