Bollywood’s foreign beauties, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi, have been called in by the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in relation to the Rs. 2 billion money laundering case involving ‘conman’ Sukesh Chandrashekar. Jacqueline Fernandez is one of the accused in this case, and Nora Fatehi has been presented as a key witness in it.
Jacqueline Fernandez stated in a written plea that she is being falsely implicated by Enforcement Directorate (ED), whereas Nora Fatehi, who also received gifts from Sukesh Chandrashekhar was presented as a witness.
Surprisingly, the latter has denied receiving any gifts from him and filed a case against Jacqueline Fernandez and 15 media houses on Monday for the alleged defamatory remarks made about her. She accused the media organizations of “carrying forward and circulating” Jacqueline Fernandez’s remarks.
Nora Fatehi claimed in her complaint that Jacqueline Fernandez is criminally defaming her to destroy her career for her own interest as they are in the same industry.
She said in the petition filed by her lawyer,
A conspiracy by accused No. 1 (Jacqueline Fernandez) to ensure the financial, social, and personal downfall of the complainant was hatched, and enacted by the said action. Her rapidly progressing career quite obviously has threatened her rivals who are unable to compete with her on a fair footing.
The court has not given a verdict in this case and the hearing has been postponed to 20 December.
