The veteran actor Behroze Sabzwari was recently interviewed by Nadir Ali in a podcast and shared insights about his work, life, and society in it. Discussing the prevailing vulgarity on TV, he remarked that actors should pay more attention to their attire and preferably wear the national dress rather than copying western cultures.
Talking about women’s clothing Behroze Sabzwari also commented on what he believed to be inappropriate dressing by women on motorbikes. According to him, they are not fully covered and wear see-through and tight clothes which do not look good and make men stare at them.
As soon as snippets of the podcast went viral, people start criticizing Behroze Sabzwari for his remarks about women’s dressing. They think it was hypocritical of him to dictate a dress code for the public while ignoring how his family dresses up.
