One of the most popular non-showbiz couples in Asia, Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza continue to win over the hearts of fans. The couple are the perfect example of the neighborly harmony between India and Pakistan.
Shoaib and Sania Mirza have a way with connecting with the public like no other celebrity couple in Pakistan. From their diplomatic and often funny ways of cheering each other during an intense India-Pakistan cricket match to cute videos at home, the two are everyone’s favorite sports celebrities.
With the celebrity couple set to host their own talk show, an old Instagram session between the two is making rounds across social media. The clip features Shoaib and Sania having a Q&A session with each other. Shoaib asks the Indian tennis star who is her favorite cricketer and why. In response, Sania says ‘Babar Azam’, due to his cricketing skills.
However, it doesn’t end there, Shoaib cheekily says: “Remember what Babar said?” while grinning from ear to ear. For those of us who don’t know, Shoaib Malik once did a Q&A with the Pakistani captain, asking him who is his favorite bhabhi. To which, Babar named Sarfaraz Ahmed’s wife.
Sania remembers the moment all too well. “Ya, even though I’m not his favorite bhabhi,” rolling her eyes. “He has dinner with us, we serve him, he stays at our home and I’m still not his favorite bhabhi.”
