It seems like one marriage is not enough for some people. Islam may allow men to marry four women though how he could take care of them all is a separate debate altogether. In a very bizarre incident, this one man from Okara decided to go beyond and marry for the fifth time.
It didn’t end well for him as his fourth wife publicly beat some sense into him (literally!).
Marriage is a big responsibility. These days, it is already hard enough for people to provide and care for their families. However, some people prefer to take the easy way – start over with a new wife. In a bizarre incident that occurred in the city of Okara, a man was roughed up in public by his previous wife for allegedly marrying a minor.

According to reports, the man in question, Jamal, is notorious for marrying and divorcing women after a few days. The man has done this four times, but the fifth time proved to be his undoing.
The last ex-wife was not going to let him get away this ‘scam’. She confronted Jamal in public and beat him up, much to the delight of everyone.
Reports suggested that the woman was not only upset about the divorce and the fifth marriage, she was outraged that Jamal was marrying a 13-year-old child.
The woman not only stopped this immoral matrimony but also confronted Jamal of his wrongdoings by presenting marriage and divorce documents of Jamal’s previous affiliations.
This sort of trend has become too common these days. People don’t seem to read the fine print when it comes to multiple marriages. Islam only allows this if the man is capable of providing and caring for all his wives. At least for now, justice is served somewhat.
