It has been a week since the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge came to visit Pakistan. The royal visit has been the talk of the town as people just adored Prince William and Kate’s journey through Pakistan.

Before wrapping up their visit, the royal couple posted a heart-warming tweet on their account to win over the Pakistani netizens.

The official Twitter account for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kensington Palace, posted a video on Sunday with a tweet: “Thank You Pakistan”

The video is a lovely tribute of the royal couple’s journey across the country. From Kate and Prince William’s cute entrance on a rickshaw, to their visits to schools and observing climate change affects in northern Pakistan.

The video also shows their meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan and visiting the Shaukat Khanum Hospital, spending time with a young cancer patient.

A Memorable Visit

Prince William and Kate Middleton visited Pakistan for the first time, from 14th to 18th October. While the visit was historical, it celebrated the relationship between Britain and Pakistan. The royal couple used this five-day visit to showcase Pakistan of today – an inspirational, dynamic and forward-looking country.

  1. The Royal coverage of their visit to Pakistan was definitely impressive. It put Pakistan further on the map as a traditional and developing country and the warmth, charm & welcoming nature of its people was evident. Kate Middleton’s/The Duchess of Cornwall’s obvious relaxed, natural state & smile was far removed from the rather forced, strained manner she has adopted recently when participating in royal duties in the UK. This is a huge compliment for Pakistan as a whole.
