Ever since the Turkish epic series Ertugrul started airing on PTV, Pakistanis have gone crazy over the show. From avidly following the exploits of Ertugrul on TV to stalking the actors and actresses playing the roles on social media, it is safe to say that Pakistanis are obsessed with the historic drama.
The show is currently trending on social media as there are memes and posts galore about Ertugrul. One of the most popular habits among fans is imagining Pakistani actors as characters from the show.

Now, fans have found their own ‘desi’ version of Ertugrul Ghazi! The man’s name is Khizer Rashid Mohajir and he fanices himself as an Ertugrul lookalike.

Nowadays, netizens have started doing hypothetical casting of who could play Ertugrul when it comes to our actors. Most people say that Hamza Ali Abbasi is the best fit to play the character (because he grew a heavy beard in Legend of Maula Jatt).
Some people also felt that Feroze Khan can also play the role but with Abbasi’s looks, he was everyone’s top choice for the role. Some people even demanded that if there is going to be a Pakistani version of Dirilis: Ertugrul then Hamza and Naimal must be chosen for the role of Ertugrul and Halime Sultan.

A few days back, Abbasi expressed his love for the show in a very unique fashion. In a video recorded by his wife Naimal, Abbasi was seen playing the theme song of the show on a guitar.
