This is the Perfect Cast for Money Heist Pakistan [Pictures]

What is it about Money Heist that has everyone going crazy with excitement? Could it have something to do with the much-appreciated acknowledgment of the 65 Pakistani hackers hired by the Professor, the addictive tune of “Bella Ciao” or just the very idea of watching people put together a crew for an elaborate robbery (Ocean’s Eleven, anyone?).

Money Heist is probably the one show on Netflix that EVERYONE is talking about these days. The show has become such a huge hit in Pakistan that people are demanding to see a Lollywood version of the show. Or at the very at least, a spin-off about the hackers from Pakistan.

Here is our take on who should be cast for Money Heist Pakistan IF they want to do justice to the series. Let’s see:

Helsinki: Shamoon Abbasi

A character who is seen as tough, but in actuality is a bit of softy, Helsinki is all about making the big guy stand out! We believe someone like Shamoon Abbasi would be perfect for such a role because his personality screams the same too!

Denver: Emmad Irfani or Yasir Hussain

Denver is a passionate and lively presence in the group, always adding color to each conversation with snappy remarks and his signature laugh. Yasir seems to have some of those same traits as well and would be an interesting choice. However…

Denver also has a strong personality in the team and he’s been a central figure of the show. That’s why we think it’s only fair to have someone like Emmad Irfani play that role since he’d be the perfect brooding character here!

Stockholm: Nausheen Shah or Iqra Aziz

If Yasir plays Denver then Iqra has to be Monica; a compassionate person who took many risks to be with her new lover when she saw how committed he was to her. Also, both characters are just so much in love on screen, the duo would be the perfect fit after the epic proposal at Lux Style Awards!

Stockholm has gone through quite a lot in the show, but has persevered through it all and has become super important! We just couldn’t think of anyone but Nausheen Shah for the remake, since we think she does look a lot like Stockholm! Plus, she’d make a kickass pair with Emmad Irfani, we believe!

Berlin: Adnan Siddiqui or Zahid Ahmed

A character who is both arrogant and charming at the same time, Berlin has been one of the most important characters in Money Heist. That’s why we believe if a remake was ever made here, we need a strong presence like Adnan Siddiqui behind it!

Zahid Ahmed has the perfect personality to play the position of a commander who leads the group inside the mint and judging from the roles Zahid has played previously, one can be sure he’d do justice to the multilayered and complicated character.

Rio: Adnan Raza Mir or Asim Azhar

Rio’s a character who is full of contrasts and that’s partly because he’s full of youth and spunk! That’s why we believe we need a celebrity who is completely a fresh face for this, and no one but Ahad Raza Mir’s younger brother, Adnan Raza Mir came to our mind! Well, if you’re looking for a debut, this is it!

However, Asim Azhar looks like the innocent and emotional tech expert, Rio. Unlike the other robbers, he is a child by comparison and equally careless as Tokyo.

Nairobi: Saba Qamar or Meesha Shafi

One of the most loved characters of the show, Nairobi has definitely been a central focus of the show! We believe someone like Saba Qamar should essay such a character because she has the ability to play roles that lie in the grey area perfectly! Plus, we’re sure she’d act the hell out of this character!

Just compare their attention to detail and spectacular fashion sense. We simply cannot imagine anyone else to play Nairobi other than Meesha Shafi who has it all to represent the strong female character with the rockstar fashion sense.

Tokyo: Hania Aamir

We feel Hania Aamir would make a great Tokyo (Desi version) who is bratty, selfish, careless, impulsive, and prone to tantrums. She acts as if she has nothing to lose, however, her fascination for unpredictability and desire for control are dangerous.

Palermo: Imran Ashraf

Palermo is apparently a divisive character and we feel Imran Ashraf would be a good choice to play the role. Given that he is one of the masterminds behind the latest heist, Imran would be a great fit for this dominating role.

Moscow: Asif Raza Mir

We’ve seen Asif Raza Mir as a father in numerous plays so why now in this one too. He also resembles the father of fellow crew member Denver. He is experienced and that shows when he provides other crew members with advice.

Alicia Sierra: Ayeza Khan

One of the evil characters on the show, Inspector Alicia Sierra definitely has made life difficult for the team! But, she’s definitely one character without whom the show wouldn’t be the same! That’s why we think it’s time for Ayeza Khan to pick up such a character and show people how multidimensional her acting repertoire is!

The Professor: Fawad Khan

Pretty much everyone saw this coming as Fawad Khan was the first choice for everyone as The Professor.

Lisbon: Kiran Malik or Mahira Khan

A character who has so many layers to her, Lisbon’s move from being on the other side to becoming a part of Professor’s plans had us all rooting for her! That’s why we believe, we need a strong Pakistani celebrity like Kiran Malik to take over such a role!

Police Inspector Raquel Murillo is a woman who refuses to be defeated by The Professor or threatened by the men in her department. We have not seen Mahira play a cop before and it would certainly be a treat to watch her act like one. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to see Mahira and Fawad Khan in a show!
