Pakistani Man Saves Cat Superman-Style on New Year [Video]

This man’s kindness will make you cry.

Superman moment

While some of us are stepping up to meet our New Year’s resolutions, one Pakistani man stepped in as Superman to save a cat in Saudi Arabia. That’s a ‘Superman moment’.

The Pakistani man is a resident of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. While the rest of us were having a blast with New Year’s celebrations, he was literally having a ‘Superman moment’.

The thing about cats is that many of them are tree-climbers and like going up to high places. Only one issude. Once they’re there, getting down can be a challenge.

While cats use their claws to climb up vertical distances, they need steps or some leverage to get down. Hence all those instances of the fire brigade being called in to save a cat from a tree, when Superman can’t volunteer.

Since Superman couldn’t volunteer to help the cat stuck on a roof in KSA, someone else had to step in. No more waiting for Superman. An elderly Pakistani man lifted a chair, providing the cat with leverage to break the vertical distance.

The cat then jumped down and went on its merry way. Now try getting over an elderly Pakistan man’s ‘Superman moment’.

Another Superhero Moment Courtesy of a Cat

This isn’t the first time a cat has brought out someone’s inner superhero. Back in December, 2018 one cat had a man step in as Aquaman.

College wrestler, Darden Schurg ‘Aquaman moment’ came with his quick action to save a drowning cat.

Darden’s father noticed a feral cat across a short stretch of water of an icy lake. The cat had fallen into the water when the thin ice broke. The cat struggled to pull itself up onto the ice a number of times but the ice kept breaking, trapping the cat in the freezing water.

“I felt like it was just something I had to do, … I kind of have a small place for animals and I just love wildlife, so seeing that cat kind of bothered me. I just couldn’t stand by.”
