We live in a world where we are our own enemies. People mistreat each other all the time and sometimes we are even more spiteful towards complete strangers. And sadly, the behavior towards animals is worse.
We all love pets but when it comes to stranded or stray animals, not many will jump in and help these poor souls. But they deserve kindness too, even more than us humans because they can’t complain about their problems or ask for help.
But the good thing is there are people who care about animals as much as humans and we should let them know they are doing the work of an angel.
Last night, a video went viral on social media where a traffic warden from Rawalpindi was seen helping a tortoise cross the road amid traffic.

The warden didn’t just help the tortoise cross the road, but he also signals any passing cars to pay heed and change their direction.
The video has made several rounds online, and people are in awe of his heartfelt act. With so much happening around us, this man’s kind gesture has won our hearts.
This is also a reminder for us to be careful when a cat, dog or any other animal is on the move. So many animals, especially tortoises get injured or killed on roads and highways due to speeding traffic every year.
So if you see an animal walking on the road, make sure that it safely reaches on the other side.
