The Pakistani community in Italy has pitched in to help their country amid the pandemic. Members of the community in Carpi got together and donated a whopping €10,300 to Italy.
Even as people are selfishly complaining about not having a social life amid a worldwide lockdown, we often see these brilliant examples where humanity shines through. While Pakistanis here are buying supplies to provide ration bags to those in need, that charitable spirit exists overseas as well.
#OverseasPakistanis in #Carpi proved that just like the virus.. charity can’t be limited within borders too.
Well done for becoming champions of your local community & donating €10300 to support Italy during coronavirus emergency. 🇵🇰🇮🇹 pic.twitter.com/oXTVqmtqMJ— Sayed Z Bukhari (@sayedzbukhari) March 29, 2020
