A nephew of the notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar revealed that he found a plastic bag containing money in one of his uncle’s houses.

He reported that the money was hidden in the wall and contained around $18 million!

When it comes to narcotics and the infamous cocaine distribution around the world, only one name comes to mind – Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaveria (or Pablo Escobar). He was considered to be the biggest drug trafficker in the world as his Medellin Cartel terrorized Colombia, the United States as well as the rest of the world.

At the peak of his power, Escobar was the seventh richest man on the planet.

However, his reign of terror came to an end when he was shot down by the police in 1993. Since he had amassed such a huge wealth that he could not keep in banks, Pablo hid most of his money in his houses and barrels buried in Colombia.

People still have not managed to discover all of Pablo’s money. Recently, his nephew, Nicolas Escobar told a Colombian media outlet that he found Escobar’s hidden fortune in one of his houses.

Escobar’s nephew also revealed that this is not the first he found money in places where his uncle hid to avoid capture. There are reportedly millions worth of money hidden in Escobar’s properties.

He also found a typewriter, satellite phones, gold pen, a camera, and a film roll. As for the money, most of the old banknotes were decayed and no longer usable. Tough luck for the nephew?
