People wonder what was his crime?

If you thought your New Year’s Eve was eventful, imagine someone dealing with the horrors of Halloween’s Eve while trying to shake off 2020.

Or maybe he was confused between the two?

A man in Peshawar felt like bringing Halloween traditions into the mix on New Year’s Eve in Peshawar. The man donned a bat’s mask and was having fun scaring people until the police rained on his parade. Police arrested the man, but no one knows if public complaint was made or police just felt like stepping in.

It would be interesting to know on what grounds the young man was arrested. Donning a mask and pranking people isn’t a crime as we know.

Netizens even made fun of how scary the mask was.

One thing is for sure. This whole ordeal is hilarious. People made jokes about the incident and even made pop culture references.

…or we may have a new New Year’s Eve tradition? In Scandinavian countries there is actually a  mask wearing tradition before the New Year. Julebukking is a tradition of Scandinavian origin between Christmas and New Year’s Day. During that time Julebukkers, people wearing masks and costumes, go door to door and their neighbors have to identify who’s who.
