Creativity has no limits and when there is a purpose behind it, it becomes more meaningful. With the aim to make a baithak for friends, an engineer built a meeting place in his village Pind Sultani which looks exactly like a railway station.
In a digital report by Urdu News, Ateeq-ul-Rehman, shares the story behind Pind Sultani Station. Located in the Pind Sultani village of Attock district, the meeting place is designed exactly like a railway station.
“When I first uploaded the photos on social media, people used to ask me about the location and timings of the trains. I had to explain them that it was a not an actual railway station.”
Pind Sultani – a unique meeting place for friends
You can even see the wall chalking and a time table. The reason why Ateeq-ul-Rehman came up with this idea is because he used to enjoy going to railway stations and read books. Pind Sultani is a beautiful place and he wanted to bring this joy from his childhood to his hometown as well.
That’s when he decided to build a meeting place that resembles a railway station. Ateeq also mentioned that he would like to build a small museum of old railway goods and paintings there as well.
“I would like to request the government if they can allocate us an old railway carriage to place here,” he further added.
