Priyanka Chopra’s wedding at the Umaid Bhawan Royal Palace in Jodhpur was as close to a royal wedding as it gets, especially for non-royalty.
Despite all that, her mother Madhu Chopra was upset that Nick and Priyanka had a ‘small’ wedding.

Basically Nick and Priyanka decided to keep it an intimate affair and only invited family, which was 200 people.
“Usually Indian weddings have like a thousand people, we had only 200 which was mostly family. Both of us have giant families………………..Because we wanted to keep it intimate. We wanted to keep it just about family.”

About Priyanka’s Wedding
The couple had a three-day ceremony at the Taj’s Umaid Bhawan Palace. There was one day of traditional Indian rituals followed by Christian nuptials. The last day was the Indian ceremony.
Followed by the three-day wedding on December 1, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra had two receptions. Their first reception in New Dehli was even attended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After the first reception on December 4, a second reception was held in Mumbai.
The Mumbai reception was on December, 19.
