A year after the brutal murder of Noor Mukadam, her family and the general public alike commemorate her death.
The daughter of an ex-diplomat, was beheaded by Zahir Jaffer on Eid-ul-Adha in the federal capital of Islamabad. Despite the public protests, the case is still ongoing.
A whole year, or 365 days to be exact have passed since the tragic incident but her parents and family still waiting and demanding justice. Recently, Noor Mukadam’s mother shared a video message that has been making the rounds on social media.
In the video the victim’s mother talks about greiving for her child. As well as the pain of awaiting justice.
“It will be a year after Noor separated from us on July 20, … We haven’t slept at night and haven’t found comfort during the day either since our daughter left.”
She added how only she and her family know the pain in which they have spent the past one year. Additionally, she invited people to gather for her daughter’s vigil at F9 Park on Wednesday, July 20. She requested for the public to stand by her side as she commemorates Noor Mukadam.
This is about standing up for the safety of their daughters.
Meanwhile, Pakistani celebs also expressed their condolences on the delayed justice in this case. Sajal Aly and Mawra Hocane posted stories commemorating the 27-year-old.
