Managing Director (MD) of Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, Rai Manzoor Nasir is getting heat for banning just about everything he deems immoral in the Punjab academic curriculum. He says these books had ‘objectionable’ material and that he is within his rights to ban them.
Speaking of ‘objectionable’ things, apparently, his official Twitter account liked a series of pornographic images and videos on the social media platform.
That’s not a very good look for anyone who is playing the role of the moral police. Over 100 textbooks were banned by him, one for having a picture of pigs in a math equation, and another for having a quote by Gandhi.

Netizens of Twitter didn’t hold back calling out this hypocrisy. Twitter really shone the spotlight on MD Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board’s ‘moral choices’ and snuffed out that moral torch he’s holding.
Incredible 🤣: A Govt official in Punjab controversially banned 100 textbooks for “immoral” & “anti Pakistan” content, including the use of a pig in a maths equation… but his twitter account “liked” a series of porn images! He blames it on “hackers” https://t.co/NRIn1B7aO3

Turns the man is also accused of abusing women online over their pictures.
To add to that, there are many instances of this government official voicing racist sentiments. While he allegedly goes around banning textbooks for obscenity, his own Twitter account reflects what kind of a person he is. People are even demanding a review of his ‘book evaluation process’.
No surprise that Rai Manzoor is a pervert, a racist & a misogynist. Its an established fact in psychoanalysis that those who see vulgarity everywhere possess vulgar minds.
Tragic that such perverts & frauds are in charge of safeguarding public morality & national interests. https://t.co/0qmVhCDCWb

Besides his voracious interest in studying booties … @Rai_Manzoor786 is also a Mumtaz Qadri supporter & routinely harrasses Muslim Women for not being moral enough

Some Twitter users even pointed out how measures like those taken by MD Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board are sabotaging education standards.
Pakistan’s education system is already redundant and hasn’t been improved and updated in years. Rather than focus on integrating recent findings and research in the syllabus for the ‘international standard‘ of education the current government promised, they’re making the syllabus even more regressive by banning mathematics book. Over a cartoon pig.

Since everyone's talking about the actual education issues in Pakistan which are actually disastrous unlike the supposed "obscenity" in textbooks, thought I'd chime in to briefly introduce you to the concept of learning poverty, which shouldn't exist for Pakistan but it does.

Hacked or an excuse?
MD Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board later explained that his account had been hacked. This is his explanation of why his account liked those pornographic images on Twitter. But no, the people aren’t buying it.
Just imagine people like @Rai_Manzoor786 are protecting public morality. Oh! God please save us from such perverts and racist people.

Rai Manzoor Nasir has since then amped up the privacy settings on his Twitter, so people can’t view a single tweet. He also deleted his tweet claiming his account had been hacked.
What do you think happened here?
