Rabi Peerzada Slammed For ‘Explosive’ Statement on Kashmir

Her picture was in very poor taste.

Rabi Peerzada

Singer Rabi Peerzada took making a statement too far by donning a phony explosive vest as a warning for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We know she’s an artiste but she took the theatrics too far.

Rabi Peerzada posted a picture of herself wearing the fake explosive vest on Twitter, with the caption;

“#ModiHitler i just wish huh #kashmirkibeti”

The tweet at best was distasteful and in the worst-case scenario is condoning violence and militancy. The tweet has since been deleted, but not before people took screenshots of it:

People Think Shaan Shahid Is Trying to Incite Violence With This Tweet

Violence Is Not The Answer

Despite Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir, the Pakistani Prime Minister was firm that Pakistan would not indulge in military intervention as that would not give India that excuse to play the ‘militancy card’ against Kashmiri separatists.

That is why Rabi Peerzada’s photograph sparked outrage on social media. Netizens called out the singer’s irresponsible stunt, and projecting a bad image of the country to the outside world.

Some Twitterati compared her antics to Neelum Munir’s item song for Pakistan.

Previously actor Shan Shahid was also called out for incitement to violence on Twitter.

Snakes and Crocodiles Might Not Save Rabi Pirzada From Jail

This is not the first time Pirzada has invited controversy.

Last month, the Punjab Wildlife Protection and Parks Department initiated action against Pirzada for keeping wild animals, such as snakes including four pythons, and an alligator as pets.

Rabi Peerzada faced the consequences for violating the Wildlife Act. Pakistan’s Wildlife Act prohibits keeping exotic animals such as alligators, snakes, pythons and other reptiles.
