Rabia Anum hosts the live Sehri and Iftar transmissions on PTV Home and during the sessions, she also responds to people’s messages and queries.
On one such occasion, a viewer sent in a query, asking for a wazeefa to have a son after having 5 daughters. The host had the best response and said that he is a ‘very lucky man’.
The fixation over having sons is a sad reality of desi societies. Instead of giving their daughters the treatment they deserve, we obsess over our sons. That’s something we have been struggling since ages, and Rabia Anum took this opportunity to educate her viewers.
She gave example of Shahid Afridi, who is not just a cricket superstar but also works really hard for the welfare of his countrymen. But apart from that, the host said she respects him purely because of the way he treats his daughters.
Rabia once again reminded the man that he is lucky to have five daughters because they are a blessing. And having five blessings around him means that Allah is very happy with him.
She then explained that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) used to dote on his daughter and he taught us to be good to our daughters as well.
