The Golden Globes 2020 last night had many memorable moments. One of those moments was when Ramy Youssef dropped an ‘Allahu Akbar‘ in his acceptance speech.
This was followed by laughs but we reckon it might have been awkward for the predominantly white stars there.
The Egyptian-American stand-up comedian and writer, Ramy Youssef won the award for playing ‘Ramy Hassan’ in his Hulu comedy series ‘Ramy‘. the Golden Globe 2020.
In his acceptance speech he thanks God with a right of the bat ‘Allahu Akbar’ (God is great!).

He then made the crowd laugh with;
“I know you haven’t seen my show.”
