As Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor expect their first child together, there are talks of the Tamasha actor shaking off his ‘playboy’ image. As per the Bollywood actor, no one ever asked for his side of the story before labeling him a ‘cheater’.
The renowned actor was dubbed a ‘Casanova’ and ‘cheat’ after his relationships fell apart one after the other. This scandalous image of being a ‘player’ stuck despite his marriage with long-time girlfriend and fellow actor from the Indian film fraternity Alia Bhatt.
Even now there are people speculating a split eventually. So the Bollywood star kid called this out.
“It [the negativity] reaches me, and I take it with a pinch of salt. It’s fine. There’s so much spoken to me. I became the poster boy of a Casanova and a cheater. People have heard somebody’s perspective, somebody’s point of view, and they haven’t heard mine. And I don’t think they’ll ever hear it. It’s fine. I am here to be an actor and that’s all I want to do.”
The Sanju actor shared how he has always told the Indian media that he wanted to get married and become a dad at a certain age.
Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Ranbir Kapoor said;
“Well take me for granted, take me for a ride. I don’t mind it. I love my life, I love my work, I love my family. I am very grateful for everything I have in my life.”
While no one ‘cared’ to get his side of the story, he isn’t bothered. All that matters is that people recognoze his craft.
“I am an actor; people can say anything about me. They can say something good, they can say something bad. But what matters to me is whether or not they like my movies. So, my focus, my hard work, my energies are only towards making a good film and it really doesn’t bother me if somebody b*****s about me, if anyone says anything bad about me. It doesn’t boil my blood.”
When fisrt stepping into the biz, Ranbir started dating Deepika Padukone. The two split and Deepika and Sonam made some explosive statements about the actor in an episode of Koffee With Karan.
He then dated Katrina Kaif, and the two reportedly split on very good terms. He then married his long-time girlfriend Alia Bhatt, and the duo are expecting their fisrt baby.
