Given how drama writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar often makes headlines for his problematic views, just about everyone has opinions about him. Recently, even Reema Khan offered her two cents on the playwright’s views.

In her appearance on a celebrity talkshow, the Love Mein Ghum actress talked about how a storyteller is the backbone of a society. They develop stories and make them relatable and that allows the audience to connect with the characters they see on the screen.

Unfortunately, many great writers seldom get the acclaim and accolades they deserve.

On the other hand, despite being such an important part of society, contemporary writers in Pakistan are seldom responsible with their storytelling.
