Panic and fear linger among the people as more and more cases of coronavirus are being confirmed in Pakistan. With the number of infected reaching almost 300, and only 2 cases of recovery, people had been wondering when the government will impose necessary actions to ensure social distancing among the people.
The main message in the PM's address was 'ghabrana nai hai'. For a pandemic that spreads exponentially, is transmitted without symptoms 70% of the time, requires unimaginable mass behavioral change to limit, in a complacent, unaware society like ours, that is a dangerous message.

Yesterday, in an announcement, the government imposed section 144 in Sindh, where most of the coronavirus cases have been confirmed. In an attempt to limit the spread of the virus; educational institutions, colleges, universities, parks, public beaches, and restaurants have been closed.
Situation is getting worse so govt has taken precautionary measures. Restaurants,malls,shopping centres will be closed in Sindh from tomorrow. Only takeaways & deliveries will be allowed. Section 144 also to be imposed at beach & parks. It’s our turn to follow#COVID #coronavirus

With the help of Section 144, authorities and businesses finally taking a step to limit social distancing might help in containing the virus spread.
