Restaurants in Karachi Stop Dine-in Due to Coronavirus

A step towards enforcing social distancing.

Section 144

Panic and fear linger among the people as more and more cases of coronavirus are being confirmed in Pakistan. With the number of infected reaching almost 300, and only 2 cases of recovery, people had been wondering when the government will impose necessary actions to ensure social distancing among the people.

Yesterday, in an announcement, the government imposed section 144 in Sindh, where most of the coronavirus cases have been confirmed. In an attempt to limit the spread of the virus; educational institutions, colleges, universities, parks, public beaches, and restaurants have been closed.

While most of the people confused this time with the holiday season,

Many businesses are now following the government’s lead and imposing the rules and regulations to be followed amid the coronavirus outbreak.
