Pakistani superstar Saba Qamar is finally delving into the world of web series in Pakistan. The Cheekh actress is set to star in a web series for Urduflix.
According to Galaxy Lollywood, Saba Qamar is gearing up for a Saqib Khan directorial. He is also the director behind Saba’s film, Ghabrana Nahi Hai. The series is said to be a rom-com with a love triangle at the center of the plot.
With the Besharam actress on board, the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized. This UrduFlix web series is still in the initial stages of pre-production.
The Baaghi actress has already made a name for herself in Pakistan and even across the border. She’s known for her versatile characters and bone-chillingly real performances. Aside from her Bollywood debut Hindi Medium, she also starred in an Indian web series.
She has previously starred in a web series opposite Noman Ijaz. Mann Jogi might be a Zee 5 project but the Indian streaming platform had many Pakistanis onboard for the web series. O Rangreza famed writer Saji Gul penned the script for this web series.
On the other hand, Saba Qamar is also working with Imran Abbas on the drama serial Tumhare Husn Ke Naam. Umera Ahmed penned the script for this drama serial.
Meanwhile, we’re all waiting on Sarmad Khoosat’s Kamli, starring the Bunty I Love You actress. Unfortunately, Sarmad Khoosat’s much-awaited and internationally acclaimed Zindagi Tamasha could not be screened in Pakistani cinemas.
