Saboor Aly opened up about the time she had to deal with Aamir Liaquat’s nonsense on his Ramazan special show. In her latest interview with BBC Urdu, the star shared why she reacted that way and taught the controversial TV presenter a lesson.
Aamir Liaquat is probably the most controversial figure in Pakistani showbiz. About two months ago, he invited Saboor Aly and Ali Ansari to his game show, where he was a little too flirtatious with the Fitrat actor. Saboor didn’t keep her calm and immediately shut him down.
Netizens praised the actress for her bravery as most celebrities just tend to ignore him in order to appear more polite. But Saboor raised the bar high for everyone and reminded them that this sort of behavior should never be acknowledged.
In her recent interview, the host asked Saboor how did she get the energy to clap back at Aamir Liaquat and become the ‘show stealer’.
“I have this energy in me in my normal life too. I do such things when it is needed. But I didn’t go there prepared that I will say such stuff and I had no idea that things will turn this way, but when it happened, it all came out naturally. I said what I thought was the best. If there was some more time, I might have said something else as well,” replied Saboor Aly.
