Actress Saboor Aly has come clean about rumors circulating around that she might have commited suicide. The Ishq Mein Kaafir actress dismissed all that people have been saying about her recently.
Word around the block was that the actress had tried to take her own life. For what reasons exactly, those were never been specified.
Seeing these claims, Saboor herself went on social media to set the record straight. That she’s very much alive and kicking. She also went to the heart of the matter why those rumors cropped up in the first place.
She put out a post clarifying that it was just fabricated.

A Case of Food Poisoning
Recently, Saboor Aly was indeed hospitalized, but for a case related to food poisoning.
Here’s what she said:
“I would like to clarify a rumor spreading around social media about me attempting suicide. Alhamdulillah there is no truth to any of this. I had simply been admitted to hospital due to a bad case of food poisoning and I am fine now.”
The Teri Meri Kahaani starlet appreciated everyone’s concern. She particularly posted a heartfelt note for sister Sajal Aly and her rumored beau Ahad Raza Mir.
“I would like to thank everyone who has been calling or messaging me for their love, concern and wishes – I am humbled by the love.”
Mental Health is a Serious Issue
Saboor Aly also penned a request for people to not propagate such fake news. She took this opportunity to raise awareness about mental health, and how serious it is. She said that these ‘are not topics of jokes’.
She added:
“I would also like to take this opportunity to request everyone to please not spread such news about anyone as mental health and death are not topics of jokes and no one needs to be put through this kind of trauma simply because you were misinformed.”
