Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are currently in Turkey shooting for their film Tiger 3. That’s how the Bollywood celebrities met the Turkish Minister of Tourism and Culture, Mehmet Nuri Israel. A video of the Ek Tha Tiger costars talking to the media after that meeting is making rounds online.
In response to a question, the Dhoom 3 actress can be heard saying, Ertuğrul is my favorite series. She shared how she has watched 85 episodes of Diriliş: Ertuğrul.
That’s when Salman said that his mother likes drama. He added that Katrina likes Turkish actors.
The globally famed Turkish period drama has been translated into 39 different languages, which is a world record. Ever since the drama series was dubbed in Urdu by Pakistan Television Network, the show blew up in the sub-continent.
PTV’s YouTube channel saw a record number of views just due to the Islamic drama. The series, dubbed Turkish Game of Thrones, has been pushing a positive image of Islam and highlighting Islamic values amid rising Islamophobia worldwide.
On the other hand, Tiger 3 is the third installment to the Ek Tha Tiger franchise. This film was followed by Tiger Zinda Hai. Fans had been awaiting another installment for years now. The title for the third film has not yet been revealed.
