Sami Khan has finally revealed how he ended up becoming an actor. In a recent interview with HUM TV’s ‘Coverpage‘, the actor revealed he actually intended to become a television host.
“I had gone for a hosting audition where I was offered a film instead and that’s how I stepped into the media industry.”
So another accidental actor huh?

He was offered a film Salakhen (2004) and has since gone on to do drama serials like Tere Pehlu Main, Ghar Ki Khatir, Main, etc.
When asked what his favorite characters were, the actor listed his favorites as ‘Faris‘ from Tau Dil Ka Kya Huwa and ‘Hamza‘ from Aisi Hai Tanhai.
Even if he just stumbled upon this profession, he’s pretty good at it. The Wrong No. 2 actor Sami Khan is critically acclaimed and has quite a fanbase. He has received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for his services to the Pakistani entertainment industry.
