Sarmad Khoosat Appointed as WWF-Pakistan Goodwill Ambassador

“I’m here at WWF to make a change and encourage you to do the same”.

With the drastic rise in global warming and climatic changes that are severely affecting human, animal, and plant life, NGOs and other government organizations are working together for the betterment of nature. To take an active part in this mission, renowned director, actor, and producer, Sarmad Khoosat, has joined the WWF-Pakistan to help it make impactful changes.

WWF- Pakistan announced the development on LinkedIn yesterday, saying,

We are delighted to welcome Sarmad Khoosat as our Goodwill Ambassador.

WWF-Pakistan welcomes Sarmad to the Panda Family and hopes that this partnership will bring great value to our mission of nature conservation in Pakistan.

The Kamli director expressed his excitement and enthusiasm in a video message that WWF-Pakistan shared, and said,

I’m sure we’re all well aware of what WWF mainly does. I came here to urge everyone to work together both individually and collectively for the protection of this world. We must take care of our planet because we were here, we are here, and we always will be here; live, thrive, and exist.

He continued, “We all need to know that we share a multifaceted connection to this world – this planet – and its systems. Taking any step, whether, on a personal or global level, that endangers our world should be highly discouraged,” and added,

That’s why I’m here at WWF to make a change and encourage you to do the same.

Sarmad Khoosat concluded,

I am delighted to join the WWF team as a Goodwill Ambassador, and I will try to ensure that I keep reminding you and myself to save nature.

Actress Ushna Shah was also made a WWF-Pakistan Goodwill Ambassador last year.

She is an ardent environmental activist and a fervent supporter of animal rights, the protection of endangered species in Pakistan, and conserving the environment.
