Despite all the recent drama surrounding the judiciary and the legal community, it seems the Qandeel Baloch case is nearing an end. The year kicked off with Saudi Arabia handing over a suspect in Qandeel’s murder case, her brother Muzaffar Iqbal.
The late-model Qandeel Baloch’s brother, was an absconding suspect in her murder. A few months ago her other brother Waseem Azeem was sentenced to life in prison for her murder.
In Pakistan, a life sentence means 25 years in jail. With good behavior, that time can be cut short a few years.
